Oooh, I'm so excited. I'm thinking about this project all the time and
it's getting bigger and better and firmer all the time.
I have a few things for you all. Thanks for this past sunday, by the way,
that was excellent.

Magic for home:
Work on your Solos.
The intention of the solo is to establish yourself as a
bigger-than-life character. This is your playground. With the character
you create, you will be able to try things out that might take years in
the real world.
Examples are good things:

My personal description:
I am a character who needs love but is scared to death that if I tell
anyone, I'll be immediately rejected and that would be so much worse than
just quietly being needy.
I am perceived as:
I believe that other people think I am shy and cute but nervous.
I perceive the world as being:
The world is scary and full of people who either know exactly what they
want and how to get it or people who are shy and never get what they want.
I'm the second type.
The world I want to live in is:
The world I want to live in is one where everyone cares about everyone
else and they actively check in with eachother all the time. People would
check in with me if i'm quiet, to see if i'm alright. Also, I'd feel more
comfortable approaching other people because I'd feel supported and not
fear rejection.

SO! pick one element in your true perception of love and blow it up big. If you're kinda excited about it, get REALLY excited in this character. Try to be as specific as possible.

The solo should be 1 minute long and include at least 2, if not all of
the following:
) embodiment/dance/movement on stage
) tone/music/singing/pre-recorded music/ideas for live music

We'll be working on these solos for a couple weeks but soon I want to take the characters and start having them interact and creating their perceived and desired worlds, so the more solid your solo is for Sunday, the better.
