April 10th, Herbst Theater 8pm	Paul Bley Solo Piano, SF Jazz Festival	SF Jazz Site. Dzeli's Review: It's intensely emotional, passionate and strong with amazing lyricism and line. Free Jazz in that often he starts with a structure but improvises far far away from it into distant beautiful lands that have great clear blue skies or are the electricity of a thunderstorm about to burst. His immediacy and ability to take both the front and the back seat in collaboration are great. At the end of one of his concerts, I either feel like I'm drenched from the sweat of fits of joyous and sad sad passion or that I'm left in another galaxy, following the tail of a comet I can't quite keep up with.

1/29 & 1/30, 848 Divis	Intensive Workshop Performances & ESP Project & Leslie Seiters	Erika's Choreo-wright Workshop Showings: students create an original ensemble-based performance piece drawing from personal stories and focusing on the connection between self-generated movement and theatrical impulse. Leslie Seiters presents "The Way to Disappear," and the Erika Shuch Performance Project Presents "All You Need," an explosive musical journey of fourteen humans struggling with the physical reality of being separate bodies with an inextinguishable instinctual need for connection.

Come join your fellow mischevious imps, spirited spirits and sprites, and bogarts, IN COSTUME (ohhh!) on top of their normal costumes (ahhhh!). We will have music, dancing and MISTAKEN IDENTITIES.
